Limited to a production of only 5,303 cars, the 1958 Fury, hailed as "The Star of the Forward Look," was the epitome of  the 1958 Plymouth fleet, but unlike all other '58 Plymouth models, the Fury was available in only one body style (Sport Coupe) and one color.  Immeadietly recognizable by it's trademark Buckskin Beige exterior paint and gold anodized aluminum side trim & grille, the '58 Fury was Plymouth's factory hot-rod and luxury car all combined into one superior automobile.  Under the hood, buyers had a choice of either the 290hp 318ci Dual Fury V-800 or the 305hp 350ci Golden Commando V8 which was hailed as "the greatest triumph of Plymouth engineering!"  Standard equipment on the Fury included: an 8-barrel carburation system, dual exhausts, heavy-duty Torsion-Aire suspension, bumper wings, dual outside rear view mirrors, 150 MPH speedometer, padded dash & sun visors among a few other options.  When you drove a 1958 Plymouth Fury, you were king of the road!
